Polish Blessing of Easter Food

We are pleased to still be able to offer this service to our Polish Community, in spite of the current pandemic.

Blessing of food will take place at 12pm on Holy Saturday. Due to restrictions on numbers in the church, you must book in advance if you wish to attend. Contact Jozef Pietrzak on 07505 479 161.

It's heartening to see that despite the ongoing pandemic, the Polish community is still able to celebrate their traditional Blessing of Easter Food. This is a testament to the resilience and determination of communities to hold onto their cultural practices and traditions, even in the face of adversity. It's great to see that the organizers have taken measures to ensure the safety of attendees by limiting numbers and requiring bookings in advance. This is a reminder that while we may have to make adjustments to our celebrations during these challenging times, we can still find ways to come together and celebrate what's important to us.
