 We were saddened to hear the news that Mary (May) Smith had passed away, suddenly and unexpectedly. May has been a regular at our 11am Mass for decades and was instrumental in her involvement in bringing that Mass to life with music, and in particularly her diligence in selecting the hymns to be sung at each Mass. This was a duty she continued until only a few weeks ago, and even then it was relinquished with reluctance.
May's funeral will be here at St Joseph's on Monday 14th November at 9.30am. For those unable to make it, there will be a live-stream of the funeral service.
