"Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.'" (Matthew 19:14)
Children's Liturgy, or Little Church, takes place during the first half of the 11am mass on a Sunday morning, during school term time. It is run by a number of volunteers and is designed to deliver the gospel to primary school aged children in a friendly and appropriate manner.
The session will run for approximately 20-25 minutes, and consists of a prayer, reading of the gospel, a short discussion and an activity linked to the gospel. It takes place in the meeting room, just off the church hall. Parents are welcome to sit in on Little Church, but children will probably get more out of the session if they are left to be independent.
